Two people have been arrested in Spain (one Basque another Andalusian) accused of the "crimes" of apology of terrorism and offense to the Spanish flag in the Internet (source). I really have no information on the kind of texts that have sparked these arrests but certainly it seems quite clear that freedom of speech is not among the rights one enjoys in the Spanish "democracy". The question is: in front of such police repression, one should self-censor actively (out of survival instinct) or speak clearly and assume the consequences? Dificult decision certainly.
